If you’ve never seen The Remarkables without snow, check this out! Over summer we have been harvesting tussock seeds which we send down to Home Creek Nursery in Te Anau. Chionochloa rigida is a native ‘snow tussock’, predominantly found in the lower half of the South Island. Home Creek Nursery propagates the seeds before sending the plants back to us to be replanted back into the areas where they were harvested. ()
