Spring can be a hazardous time in the mountains. Our team of avalanche experts makes educated decisions regarding terrain opening throughout each day to mitigate risk and keep everyone as safe as possible. Our hearts go out to the families and all those involved in the avalanche in the ski area in Banff National Park only two days ago. The mountains are beautiful, but they are also unforgiving. Never duck a rope. Always obey all signage. Respect the decisions of our team. ()
