Since 1955 we’ve strived to improve mountain access. Improvements like the Schlasman’s lift and beginner area expansion. Ridge skiing has only been accessible for a few “hard core” locals, but not anymore guests will soon be able to ride corduroy from t to b. We are excited to announce our latest acquisition, The Groomba. What is a Groomba, you ask? It’s a revolutionary new snow grooming machine that takes inspiration from the popular Roomba vacuum cleaner. The Groomba is designed to autonomously groom the slopes, using advanced sensors and mapping technology to navigate around obstacles and adjust its grooming patterns based on the terrain. But that’s not all the Groomba is also designed to be eco-friendly, with a hybrid electric engine that reduces emissions and noise pollution. This will greatly increase our sustainability efforts to help Save the Coldsmoke! Coming 2023-24, a few ridge runs will be groomed daily. (2023-04-01)
